Funny Cuts The Gloom – Proverbs 17:22

Proverbs 17:22 – A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

It is a rather gloomy day out. Last week we had four beautiful summer-like days. I was outside a lot too. But now, we might even get some snow this week. It could be a little down but I am making the best of it. I’m going to have a good spirit and keep working on my weight. Attitude is a big part of the battle.

Here are some funny things I have picked up over the years to help make you smile and keep the right attitude for losing weight:

REFRIGERATOR MAGNETS:

FATTY FATTY, 2X4;
KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF THIS DOOR

IF YOU CAN READ THIS, YOU’RE TOO CLOSE
TO THE REFRIGERATOR.

IF YOU DON’T WATCH YOUR FIGURE…
NO ONE ELSE WILL.

NOTHING DENTURED, NOTHING GAINED.

MY EATING PREFERENCE IS OFTEN.

DIET DEFINITIONS

Balanced Diet: A cookie in each hand.

Dieting: Breaking the pound barrier.

Destiny: Rich foods are like destiny. They, too, shape our ends.

Sandwich Spread: That which you get from eating between meals.

Seafood Diet: When you see food … you eat it.

Stressed: The word “stressed” makes perfect sense when you realize
that it is “desserts” spelled backwards.

Successful Diet: The triumph of mind over platter.

Dieting Tips

On a diet? Go to the paint store – you can get thinner there.

A great way to lose weight is to eat naked in front of a mirror.

Restaurants will almost always throw you out before you can eat too much…

HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS!

Dear God, I praise you for the day even though it is a bit gloomy and chilly out. Thank you for the opportunities that this day brings. Bless this day and help me to keep a cheerful heart all day long. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“A joke is a very serious thing.”
-Winston Churchill

“There is hope for the future because God has a sense of humor and we are funny to God.”
-Bill Cosby
